Trip to York today - purpose of the visit was to deliver 8yo his 9th birthday present early - H will be on holiday on his actual birthday - came as a surprise he'd requested a lava lamp - didn't know they have come back into vogue

Replied hello there to to this sailor - as he hailed me whilst whilst R and I were leaving Naburn Marina - with daughter and husband - after partaking of coffee and cake

Afterwards attended the school leavers service - held in the village church -prior to collecting grandchildren from school - giving me the opportunity to say hello there to many more folk - do like friendly folk
