Crew Practice

Watching early morning, really early - arrive before the sun comes up, crew practice is no way to enjoy vacation, but our daughter wanted us to see her train as she decides if she is going to become a crew person. We dutifully arrived at the body of water where they practice, only to see her boat waaaay in the distance. We walked, they rowed and soon we could actually determine which one of the eight was her. Then they were at the other end of the course and we couldn't see a thing. She used to play volleyball, which was a great spectator sport, but now is considering crew, which must be one of the worst sports for spectators. I managed to get a few shots of her in the boat, but thought this one, of a different group, was a much more graphic photograph. I really like the symmetry of oars and rower's positions (I guess that means they are a practiced crew). Hopefully next time I will be able to get a similar shot that features my daughter rather than complete strangers.
