Coming out of its shell...

After an incredibly wet day, I was struggling for an interesting blip but then met this lovely big Garden Snail (Cornu aspersum) in our garden late this evening. All the snails in the garden seem enormous this year. This one is no exception. I love snails as subjects - they can't get away. Easier than centipedes - I'm still trying to capture an in-focus image of one of those!
