Foraging

Wandering along Newhall with the kids filling a small container with blackberries when we came upon two trees absolutely covered in this yellow fruit - and a yellow carpet beneath the trees too! Asked a passer by what they were and he happened to know - bullaces - a kind of wild plum. So we ate a few and topped up our container with them rather than more blackberries (far quicker as bigger and more abundant!). So this became our dessert after lunch!
