Monotype

I learned how to compose with single letters of lead type at college back in the eighties. My degree was in graphic design and I think we were one of the last years to learn everything about typography from hot metal to computer typesetting. 

This picture was taken at the William Morris Museum in Hammersmith where we spent a wonderful day. I felt a lot happier at the end of it than I did at the beginning. Extra of flipped image
