8 Months

Happy 8 month birthday to me!
What a few weeks it's turned out to be!
I can now officially crawl,
And this is driving mummy up the wall.
I never sit still so neither can she,
She doesn't even get a minute to pee.
I pull myself to my feet by holding onto a chair,
I've fallen so many times but I've yet to despair.
I'm getting better at eating my food
Just like mummy hoped I would.
I am, however, still a terrible sleeper,
Mummy's starting to resemble the great grim reaper.
But I know I'll get there in my own sweet time
Maybe it'll be in month number nine!?
