Loving my new lens!

I got a new lens. It's the Canon Nifty Fifty. I have to say this is a nifty little guy! I am starting to get called out to do actual shoots. I only have a little Rebel, but I have been able to take remarkable pics with it.  This is little Kenzie paying in the water, cooling off from the 110 degree summer heat. The clouds covered the sun which was my cue to start snapping in the beautiful diffused afternoon sun.
