Pure Light

We decided that as we had delayed our visit here twice in the last week we would drive to our mobile home in Wales whatever the weather and forecast.
Had one of those journeys where there was huge spray on the motorway for two thirds of the journey and there was a lot of traffic.
When we hit the north coast road on the peninsula it improved somewhat and even though it was still raining we could see the dying embers if a sunset over the sea in the distance.
A rather strange phenomenon.
We finally arrived in Abersoch near midnight and surprisingly it was dry!
We unpacked the car and brought everything inside, will unpack properly today.
Needed an hour to settle in before we went to bed.
As l knew the challenge was light for today's Mono Monday( thank you 60plus) and as l had already noticed how dark it was here compared to home (because there is so little light pollution here) l thought l would try and do my shot then.
So at about 1am or even later l switched the outside lighting off and took this.
Not sure how long we are down here as Mr P was due to have an operation on his hand this coming Thursday but we've just found out it's been cancelled until August.
Another month won't make much difference and it means we have the luxury of staying a bit longer if we choose to.
Forecast is a bit iffy though.
Having said that we've woke up to a gloriously sunny morning and it's really warm, now let me get some sun on these old bones!
Putting this on now as for once l've got some wifi, as usual when we are here l find it difficult to put an entry on, never mind comment.
So it may be just hearts and stars from me for a while.
I will look at your journals as often as l can.
