Kingfisher!

This morning I went down to our local nature reserve to see if I could spot a Kingfisher.  We've been down a few times, but have only caught glimpses.  After an hour of waiting, I was treated to five minutes of perching by this bird, with the occasional dive into the water for a fish.  It was impressive - I've never managed to photograph one before, and have only rarely seen one.

Really scruffy Jay in the extra - it looks more like a vulture!
