Big Day...

or actually mostly a "too small" kinda day...

went to Perth to buy ski boots - I've had all sorts of bother with my previous ones and they're now falling apart.

It's not exactly comforting / reassuring when the first thing that's said to you on taking your shoes off is "wow! oh dear!" ( apparently my feet are wide, which I knew, and of "large volume" - ho hum ) but they did appear to know what they were doing...

so 2hours plus in the store later, I come out with these, which certainly feel better that the ones I've had before...

fingers crossed for the ski week at the start of feb.

just need to get fit for it now...
