Essex day with fammo

Started off in Clacton, breezed round the shops as the rain held off then a quick detour down memory lane to Jaywick. Mum stayed there as a teenager (Wolseley) and dad stayed there as a boy (Hilmann). Poor Jaywick had since become run down, unloved. There are now signs of better lives there. In the past year chalets have been updated and roads have been resurfaced. Good to see.

Then a quick stop off at Brightlingsea for a hot chocolate and a wee and then home.
