Happy birthday Murphy

Murphy is four today and of course David is in my thoughts.

Getting to London this morning was an issue due to signalling problems at Wimbledon. They were still causing a problem on the way home.

My colleagues from Hove were in London today. It was good to see them.

As it was Murphy's birthday I let him choose the route for his walk this evening. We were out for quite a while.

While we out we saw a goldfinch trying to land on a shiny sloping handrail. He kept sliding down it.
