Red Petticoats???

G and I went for a walk with our friend A in Sandringham Park this morning. We walked down the hill as far at the bridge crossing the Poppy Line and arrived just as a steam train was approaching. It was like a scene from the Railway Children and it was a good job we had no need of red petticoats to wave to warn the train of trouble ahead as in the film. Of course, after walking down the hill we had to walk back up it, but fortunately there's a National Trust cafe at the top with restorative tea and cake!  Next time we might carry on and pick the coastal path to Sheringham.

G, M and I went to see Dunkirk at the IMAX in Norwich - amazing film, do go see it!
