The Hoy Kirk

The Hoy Kirk is just peeping out from below the Ward Hill (height 1570 feet). 

A courier arrived at Creel HQ this evening proclaiming that Hoy was the only place in Orkney today to see a blink of sun (although it soon disappeared) apparently most of the Mainland was dreich and drizzle, the old double act.

But you know Blippers, Summer is gradually moving along.
