Client's client's client

A meeting today at my client's client's client. If you want to make cost savings, then introducing no end of middle men and their mark up is one way not to. My daily rate is marked up by somewhere in the region of 50% by the time that it gets to the end client, who a few years ago employed me directly.
I'm sure there's an accountant out there somewhere who can explain how it represents a cost saving, but I have yet to meet one.
After the meeting I took the opportunity to walk along the south bank to the Tate Modern and visit their current "Fahrelnissa Zeid" exhibition. An interesting exhibition and a talented lady.
I then went down to the "Tanks" having been inspired by ColStro.
