Summer fruits

A chilly start to the day but a nice long dog walk anyway. It's really nice on walks how you bump into people, that you knew years ago and they are just the same. I met a friend who had the most fabulous working sheep dog, which would provide crowds with an amazing show of speed and agility, and just to catch up again with our new pup was lovely.

Later, a trip to pick up another 300 leaflets should keep us busy for the new few days, here's hoping for sunshine.

The blip is not of an apple tree in our garden. It fruits really heavily but unfortunately the apples don't taste amazing. They do provide food for black birds until November though and the ants run up and down the tree on a never ending task following each other on some tour of duty.
