Raindrops On Pink Flower

I tend to shy away from posting too many flower photos, but with Hurricane Hilary dropping some rain on our city I wanted to find a way to show the drops. Hilary is the name of my sister, so I had to mention it in these pages in case she follows my journal and knows I'm thinking of her. The hurricane is quite a considerable distance offshore, and moving away from us, so we got only a smattering of moisture. The drops were enough, however, to cause this beautiful Hibiscus blossom to crash to the ground under their weight shortly after I captured this shot. Fortunate I didn't wait too long to break out my camera.
