Five year Milestone

Five years ago today I had a pea sized lump removed from my right breast. I was lucky to have caught the Cancer early and only had to have radiotherapy. The waiting is the worst part. I have been taking Anastrozole tablets and Calcium tablets to counter the effect of the former. I have had no side effects so have stayed the course. As I changed health authorities three years ago when we moved and it took some time to convince the new health authority that I needed to continue to be monitored, I won't have my last specialist appointment until September or October. These dark brooding skies along the sea front looked as though more rain was coming but nothing materialised. I picked my first wild blackberry today which I ate but it was rather sharp.
