Rip it up!

These leaves have been eaten, tattered and torn - somebody or something has ripped it up. No clue what, but somehow the shapes of the leaves are still there even though a major part of the surface has just disappeared!

This was taken just after sunrise in Oslo - a really chilly morning with thick ice on the windshields of the car, and my hands were feeling icy as I was not wise enough to pack my gloves with me.

Now writing this after returning home from Norway, and after having enjoyed a hot sauna :-)
