things are looking up

The sun came out today.

Spent the morning in the Marta Herford gallery/museum in Herford.  Anniemay blipped the outside of the building yesterday.  This is inside.

The main exhibition at the moment is a collection of works of artists from the Middle East.  

It’s very hard to reconcile creativity with the images we see on our TV screens.  Some of the exhibits show anger - especially at the attempts to suppress creativity - while others capture tender moments.  (see extras).

The rest of the band arrived at the hotel in the early afternoon.  We walked down the road to the nearest cake shop (yum) then off to a pub to set up for our first gig.
