Well somebody loves us!

The squabs are growing apace - look at their bursting crops - parents are feeding them well.  The one on the right is pretty feisty and protective of its docile sibling and reared up trying to peck me when I watered his tree today.

P.S.  for those who missed earlier blips:  when I went to water a friend's plants on her balcony the first time I found two pigeon eggs under an oak sapling.  The next time I went they had just hatched and now they are growing rapidly.  You never recognise a juvenile pigeon because by the time they fly they have adult feathers - unlike, say, a robin or seagull
