A spot of agitation!

I arrived at the loch early this morning and just in time to watch this greylag goose performing his morning ablutions on a relatively empty loch. The Canada geese were grazing on the grass, most of the Greylags were grazing in a nearby field and the swans were snoozing on the stones.

The sailing activities seem to be on hold again .... there was a notice up about blue, green algae which has been found again and is harmful to the skin. The watersports were closed last year for the whole summer .... the closure notice at the moment is only till the 31st but I'm sure, like last summer, it will be extended, again. Such a shame but better to be safe than sorry.
