Callistemon

I was walking back from a meeting in the village today and picked this small callistemon from a low bush.  Only 3 inches long, but still a profusion of stamen and colour. I am growing some white Callistemon along the front of our courtyard, so can't wait for them to mature and flower. I had dismantled my light box because of having the carpets shampooed so had to make do with a piece of black cloth and the torch on my iPhone. Well, it got me a flower Blip!
