Dog-cousin

Bailey did not want to get out of his crate this morning. He obviously knew that our holiday was over and we were going to be packing up the car and heading inland and south. He did get up eventually and was absolutely no help whatsoever with the packing, making a break for it at one point to go and greet one of the locals when I turned my back on him.

We headed down the A1 and then the A19, going through the Tyne Tunnel to the little-big sister's. Bailey was excited to see Ringo and Ringo was excited to see everyone else. An attempt was made to get a shot of them together but it was not to be - Ringo is much more co-operative with portrait requests.  Puffin and lighthouse photos and new kitchen shared before lunch and a bit of a walk for the dog-cousins before we headed back down the A1.

Not too much traffic at all and we got a food shop done and were still home before 6. Bailey scoped out his garden and requested a walk around the block before he has finally settled himself on the spare bed. Normal service resumed.
