Lava flow stopped at Pahoa

The town was on edge, ready to evacuate. The pharmacy and one food market had already boarded up anticipating lava overrunning the town.

Fortunately, the lava stopped at the local transfer station where everything that can be recycled is, including green waste, metal, glass, paper, plastic and more. Items that can be used again are offered at near-giveaway costs. There's a place to dump trash too, but much more is recycled when recycling is facilitated and encouraged. You can also turn in some glass, plastic, and aluminum beverage containers for money.
