Yellow flower

When I go to work, I have to take two buses to get there. I don't know what the name of this plant is, but several of them are growing near the stop where I have to wait for my second bus. I'm guessing that the main flowering period must be over now because there were only a few these yellow flowers on the entire patch.

It has been a warm and overcast but dry day. My shift at work was quite exhausting and although both my knee and hip have behaved rather well today, I'm very much looking forward to my usual day off tomorrow.
