The NOT Air Balloon Festival

Blip meet at the balloonless hot air balloon festival. The weather was too windy/rainy for the balloons to land so they were cancelled, likewise the Nightglow performance. I believe the firework display went ahead despite our absence.

The blipmeet part made up for no balloons though. We were able to sit outside and chat before standing by the lake for the obligatory group photo courtesy of Seasons' husband. After a pleasant few hours together we went our separate ways and I had the pleasure of being tour guide to Anni for the day.

We went to Beachy Head then to Birling Gap for lunch of tomato and fennel soup, which was so good Anni recommended it to a young family who shared our table. The torrential rain set in for the rest of the day so we visited Martin at work at the tattoo studio before coming home to introduce Anni to the woofpack. Martin and Chris accompanied us for a curry followed by an evening in the pub :)
