Hammocking

An overcast and wet start to the day, though it doesn’t dampen the enthusiasm for going in the pool. Matt takes a more leisurely approach to holidaymaking – and the hammock is a hit with them all.

George has found a voice-activated handset for the TV which tries to interpret his English as French. This is as funny as it is frustrating for him.

We head into Biarritz, eventually finding a parking place overlooking the seafront. As we suspect, we’re a bit late for lunch at most restaurants but find a very good tapas place.
