Loch Fyne rainbow

The weather was not so good today but we thought we found a break in it to go for a walk.

This was the view on the way up and I liked the colour contrast and the layers.

From the same view point we could look down on a native woodland badly infested with rhododendron. This is at a severe stage when the rhody has killed most of the trees with only a few managing to keep their heads up. They will be gone in a couple of years. I have put a shot of this in the extra for those of you that may still think that rhodies are pretty and do no harm!! The bright green is all rhododendron with no wildlife value
