St Conan's Kirk

I made time to stop en route back from Glasgow, though didn't explore as much as I could have as it was pouring with rain.  What a fascinating church.  Apparently the architect Walter Douglas Campbell built it for his mum who found travelling to the alternative church too tiring.  There's a dedicated son for you. It has so many interesting features and some lovely stain glass windows - the unstained ones were rather lovely too.  I haven't really done it justice and plan to go back some day.
