Almost Monet

Our friends P & P were staying at their son's home in Marlow and suggested we meet. We were happy to see them again. They chose a pub on the edge of Windsor, situated in the thick network of Victorian streets. It took us a while to find somewhere to park as it was almost all resident parking. From the Sunday menu we chose a huge sharing meat board which as well as roast beef, pork, lamb and chicken was piled high with Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes. I've never seen a sharing meal quite like it! See extra.

After lunch we visited a garden in the National Gardens Scheme. It was a lovely place to explore, with the men going on ahead and posing on the Monet bridge. Unbelievably we managed to consume tea and cake, after that huge lunch!
