Riverside Bridge.

Erected in 2008 for pedestrians and cyclists, it links the Abbey area of Cambridge to Chesterton. It is part of my usual round trip walk. There are seats in the centre where I like to sit and either look along the river or across to the wildlife and picnic area. The girl on the cycle path is using one of  Homebase's, free to use, Cargo bikes which enables customers to get bulky items home. They are on trial in Cambridge and Finchley Rd, London. There is a separate path, where I was standing, for pedestrians.
