Crumpled

A newly opened flower of Papaver burseri, native of the central European mountains, still a little crumpled from being all folded up as a bud. Reminding me I have shirts to iron if I am not to look a little crumpled myself.

A quiet Sunday at home enlivened by a visit home from Ruth, great to see her.  It did involve a couple of outings for Dad's taxi so my day in the garden failed to materialise but the garden will still be there tomorrow.
