It was Astro that spotted this bobtail calmly camouflaged in his surroundings just a few inches from where I was crouching down to take a wildflower photo.

Astro barked, 'bobby' flicked out his blue tongue then continued to doze in the sun and I was VERY relieved it was not a ssssssssssssnake!
