Omaima at U2

We have been to Amsterdam to a fabulous concert of U2.
They performed the album "Joshua Tree", very well known by the big crowd, which was singing along every single note.
The heart of the stage was a giant screen with brilliant records.
The act, that impressed me the most was "Miss Sarajevo".
It started with the question to Omaima, a sixteen year old girl from Syria, what she would say to a crowd of thousands of people in an arena.
Her dream was to live happy, go to America and to become a lawyer to help people. Than they showed the life in the giant camps for refugees.
In the meanwhile a giant banner of Omaima made its way through the arena. Bono ended the song with a plea for more help and acceptance for the refugees. Very impressive!
