I was delighted to see a whitefaced heron in the Linwood Canal this morning, and even more delighted when it took off, with the camera's Continuous set to High, and while my finger was on the button! I don't know how mmp26 captures all her bird shots! I'm appreciating her encouragement though, even though she's telling me it's a slippery slope.

And another delightful happening is your response to yesterday's Lake Heron image! It's been quite a while since I've had an image way up on the 1st page of Popular, and for it to be for an image that was an absolute joy to capture just can't be beaten. Thank you all so much for all those comments and stars and hearts. Wow!
