Winter Trees.....

Well, our winter trees don't look all that wintery compared with the frosty and snow scenes in other parts of the country. But despite that some of our currently leafless trees are starting to colour up with a promise of bud burst to come. The day started with a frost. Later the wind swung around to the north and north-west, strong and bitterly cold. Maisie and I took a walk along the bottom then top of the Taylor Dam structure in view of the lake. Invigorating to say the least.
