Serpent

An outing to Harrogate seemed a safe bet on a day when sporadic, sharp showers were likely.

Having taken the somewhat circuitous route by train we made a beeline for Valley Gardens where 9yo and 12yo enjoyed the playground, mini golf and pitch and putt, with occasional sheltering under trees.

We then bought a lot of pencils. Or rather I bought a lot of pencils under the instruction of 9yo who declared that none of our pencils are long enough anymore. We could have argued about it, but I didn't want to draw it out.
