Blackpool

On the spur of the moment Mr MD and I decided on a trip to Blackpool.  I'm so glad we did.  The sun was shining, the sky was blue and there was a strong but warm wind.   We travelled on the tram to Fleetwood, spent some time there and then returned back to the centre of Blackpool where we walked along the promenade and took in Blackpool's sights, sounds and smells.      This photograph of the Tower is taken from the Central Pier.    A most enjoyable trip out.
