Thistle (Teasel)at a Campground

I took lots of photos today but I decided to find one that would work for the MonoMonday Challenge: Texture......seems like this one has enough texture to work.   Colored photo in extra.
I can hardly believe today is the last day of July.....summer will be gone too soon......but Portland is going to be too hot this week...maybe record high temperatures...maybe even 107F.....that is REALLY HOT. I have to go to Portland for a couple days.....darn!  But I will come back to the beach as soon as I can. I hope all of you in the Northwestern US find a way to stay cool.
