Not long ago this was a fresh flower, but it has aged gracefully and in the process the petals have become delicately paper-like. 

The border and the textured layer have been added using topaz textures.



A huge thank you for the continued visits, comments, stars and hearts. I’m so pleased you liked the dainty perfectly formed wisp of a feather featured in yesterday’s blip. And many of you loved the extra photos of the cormorants. I certainly made sure I didn’t stand directly beneath any of the trees!
