The Old Forge (Tuesday 1st August 2017)

The goldfinch has worked out how to get to the sunflower hearts - if it's the same one; there have been a couple on the feeders in recent days.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Diana Ross and the Supremes - Ain't no sun since you've been gone (recorded 2 August 1968, Hitsville, Detroit MI)
The Lost And Found CD this is from formed my soundtrack while I caught up with some jobs in the workshop this morning. It's another Norman Whitfield production that he revisited time after time - the Temptations, Chuck Jackson, Gladys Knight and the Pips (twice), the Undisputed Truth and others - including this never-completed version for the Supremes. Mary and Cindy never got to put on their vocals and the psychedelic overdubs never happened, but it still packs a fair punch.
Dusty Springfield was amongst those who covered the song, for Definitely... Dusty in 1968.
