A break in the rain! And a beautiful uplifting walk with the family up to the waterfall above Crummock Water (Scales Force). Eve is a brilliant walker and general outdoor trooper - takes me by surprise every time I notice it again. Tonight we shall enjoy delicious barbecue food and wine cooled in the stream - this camping lark is perfect when the weather permits!
