Hillsborough

I have the utmost respect for the police and am appalled at the deaths of those public guardians in Gunchester. Who could have imagined that hand grenades would be used in UK cities!
However, I have witnessed officers going beyond the call of duty quite a few times. The "hurry up van" in Glasgow, the handcuffed drunk dropped on his face by two Inverness "officers" and of course the Frenchman who tripped on those stairs in Aberdeen.
I have no axe to grind personally since I am educated and vocal but suspect that the police need to take a hard look at themselves as we enter the 21st Century.
