Centro histórico

With Aranzazu in mind (church downtown Guadalajara), my sister and I went downtown and walked around some beautiful historic places and churches. Our destination: Aranzazu for 8 o'clock mass, is one of many Franciscan churches in Guadalajara. The Templo was built between 1749 and 1752 as part of the a group integrated with the convent of San Francisco de Asis. The Templo is baroque in style and is best known for its beautiful churrigueresque style altarpieces made of carved wood gilded in gold.
