Stairway to seventh

Actually it's only to fifth floor as these stairs belong to the wonderful 100 years old Jugend building where my parents live in but that wouldn't rhyme. Too bad they are ruining this wonderful architecture with an elevator.

The story behing the building and its making is also quite interesting. It's originally built by finnish railroad workers as their own apartments. I can only imagine how wifes of these workers carried the 100+ kg loads of brick, mortar and sand up these stairs while their husbands did the masoning. You may easily guess which effort I respect more.

Shoulder on its way down belongs to my wife as she's slowly but steadily following me.
