Oh no!!

I’ve squashed a rare butterfly! Well, that was my immediate thought, but then thankfully on closer inspection I realised, with a huge sigh of relief, that what I’d actually stood on was a dried up Fuchsia flower!! (The new Windows photo editor/doodah has given the shot rather a strange effect, so without intending it to be so, it’s become my version of an Abstract Thursday entry.)

Another cool, grey day of showers, this time accompanied with a strong wind. But the forecast for the weekend is improving, hopefully…

And another early blip for me as I’m off out shortly to supper at a friend’s house, where there’ll be more catching up, nattering and a glass or two (or three!) of therapeutic bubbles!!
