Ain't nothin' but a hound dog.....

New experience today.
Went hound racing at Milton Park in Peterborough, the home of The Fitzwilliam Hunt. It was great fun. They parade six hounds prior to each race. They auction the hounds (for the duration of the race only) then release hounds at one end of a course of hurdles and the master of hounds blows his horn to get them running.
I tried to bid for a hound but had to bow out at £46 as i wanted some pennies left for Chinese for tea! Probably wouldn't have cost so much if my husband wasn't bidding against me (accidentally silly boy!)
