Was It Really So Long Ago

Early Walk and a Forage

Southwold camping trip day 3: as nobody else seemed as keen as me to enjoy the sun, I rose, drank coffee alone and headed across the road for a wander around Wenhaston heath. Nothing particularly worthy of note happened except for the joy of being out in the open air early in the day in the sunshine with the benefit of caffeine.

Later, we enjoyed a lazy breakfast and Beloved confessed to feeling less than par. Consequently with the children playing, we sat back and avoiding rushing into any serious activities for the day. Every holiday should have one in my book, but I did manage to revisit the heath later in the morning. Miss C was particularly keen to take advantage of the abundant blackberries which we ate for lunch.

Soon enough, it was time for yet more relaxation before an evening meal out in Halesworth, the White Hart being the venue of choice. Due to Master H being under par, he did his best to sleep through the entire meal, waking just in time to eat both courses.
