Where the Light Gets In

We spent Wednesday at Julie's sister's, as it was her day off work. Julie's Dad (* tad kozh = granddad, or rather old dad, and more literally "father old" in Breton - pronounced [ta koz] or [ta kooz]) was there too.

We had a great time and were very happy to see them all. We hadn't seen Virginie and the kids for over a year, I think, so it is an undestatement to say that we found Eloïse (4 years old this month) and Maxens (3 years old this December)) grown up!

Julien (Virginie's companion and the kids' father), who did the work upstairs in our home a few years ago, will give us a quote on the work needed in my future office. When he has time, because he has lots of work at the moment (good for him!). In the meantime, a local guy will come and give us his own quote...
